In this episode of the ongoing soap opera All My Employees, Karen interviews her sales guru, Linda.

How did you come to work at Bisousweet?

After meeting Karen several years ago, I knew that I wanted to work for her—she’s not only incredibly talented and I love everything she makes, but she’s also a kind, honest, and caring individual. After a little hesitation on both our parts, I joined her team, and haven’t regretted it for a second! We have so many connections throughout our lives that I think it was meant to be!

Do you work another job?

No. I previously worked in sponsorship sales for the Cleveland Indians and more recently, ski Instructor at Wachusett Mountain.

What’s your poison?

I love fresh seafood & veggies but I have a weakness for burritos & chocolate—both of which I desperately try to avoid.

What was your favorite sweet as a child?

Carvel Ice Cream Cake for birthdays!

If we ran into you on the street, what would you likely be holding?

Hopefully you’d find me running—so, my cell phone and a water bottle.

What is the most unexpected song in your music library?

My favorite music is country…Zac Brown, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, but an unexpected song would be “You’ve made me so very happy” by Blood, Sweat & Tears. Great childhood memories of singing that song with my brothers & sisters growing up and I recently downloaded it.

Do you read books? What genre?

Historical Fiction is my preferred genre. Currently reading The Paris Wife by Paula McLain. Other recent favorites include Wild by Cheryl Strayed, Still Alice by Lisa Genova and Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline.

Do you have a pet(s)? 

Yes. A 3 year old Golden Retriever Bauer…one of favorite things to do with Bauer is take him off leash on local trails.

What’s your favorite and/or least favorite thing about working at Bisousweet? I believe in Karen and her products so it’s an easy sell. It’s also great to be in company with people who like what they do! Least favorite thing….that I don’t spend more time at the Bakery. I love the energy & camaraderie.

What is Your Favorite Bisousweet Product? Ginger Molasses Cookies is my latest favorite. My 3 boys, Max, Ben, & Sam love the Coconut Macs, Orange Coconut & Linzer Hearts… Sam in particular can power down a bag of hearts in record time.
