Having spent many years in Vermont & being married to a Vermonter, I understand that maple syrup is a food group. I knew we had to somehow incorporate maple syrup in our doughnut muffins. Luckily, after much research and development, we found perfection with a maple flavored doughnut and loaded it with dried apples. Want to try something divine? Heat up a couple of all natural Maple Apple Doughnut Muffins in a toaster oven for a couple of minutes and serve with hot apple cider.
