This is where it all began in Bisousweet Doughnut Muffin Land. From the pages of a cookbook purchased in Colorado by a co-worker’s mother, this recipe jumped through many different hoops before it finally transformed into our little doughnut muffin. We launched these at a farmer’s market one summer and sold out, week after week. Before long, we started selling these to our other retail stores, tested new varieties, and launched our most popular product line.
So, what is a doughnut muffin? It’s a muffin that is baked, not fried, that tastes like an old fashioned doughnut. It’s lightly scented with nutmeg and coated with cinnamon sugar. They are not to be missed and are worth every. single. calorie.
