There are a couple of new products that we’re making these days which have gone under the radar for whatever reason. I am not a salesperson by any means, nor will I ever be one. Just ask my Sales Director. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve been in a situation where she’s busy doing her thing, selling and promoting the products, the brand, and even me, and I’m literally rocking back & forth in silent discomfort with the attention. I’m the same way about the treats we make. I personally think they’re terrific, but tend to stay on the down-low about this. I like to post pictures on Facebook or Instagram, but hesitate to go much deeper than that.
Right now, we’re in the process of updating our website, which is missing some of the products we’ve added to our menu over the past year or two. We can’t update the site without pictures, so Eddie’s ‘day job’ now consists of taking pictures. He sent me this one yesterday to see if I liked it, and all I could think was how amazing those brownies looked, and how I’ve done a lousy job promoting them.
Just look at them…how can you resist? They are everything I personally look for in a brownie…dense, chewy, fudgy inside with that crackly, lighter-textured, slightly flaky top. The chocolate flavor is intense, so much so that I usually opt to ‘pair’ this indulgence with a cup of coffee so my palate doesn’t have a heart attack.
The stick-like shape just makes the whole eating experience more fun. The rectangle shape turns a classic bake sale stand-by and elevates it to a new experience.
