There’s a new flavor doughnut muffin available from Bisousweet, and it’s one I highly recommend you look for the next time you’re out shopping. It’s an all-chocolate doughnut muffin with just enough mini chocolate chips inside to make it irresistible. The outside is a light cinnamon sugar, and the combination of the lightly spiced sugar coating with the deep dark chocolate interior raises the bar on this mini treat.

Here’s what I discovered this morning:

• Chocolate Doughnut Muffins were worth the wait. It took us forever to come up with a recipe that worked, and we almost gave up more than a handful of times. I’m glad we didn’t stop working on this one.
• Chocolate Doughnut Muffins briefly heated in the microwave turn this little muffin into a whole different experience. oh.my.lord.
• I like hot chocolate. It’s even better with a shot of espresso in it and a homemade marshmallow.
