Last week, Bisousweet hosted a cookie decorating event for the Acton Boxborough United Way. 45 people attended the event and had the chance to taste what it’s like working in a bakery. The event was so much fun and the feedback was so positive, I decided to officially start offering baking classes at the Bisousweet.

We are in the process of brainstorming different classes we plan on holding throughout the summer, fall and into the holiday season, and I think you’re going to be really really tempted to sign up for one or two classes, if not more. While the majority of our classes will be held in the evenings and are geared for adults, we are not forgetting the little people – we plan on hosting classes for children on weekend days. If you can’t think of any place you would rather avoid more than your kitchen, but your child is obsessed with all things culinary, bring them to me…they will be in good hands, I promise.

• Baking for the holidays
• Gingerbread Houses
• Buche de Noel

All classes will be small, intimate, hands-on, and everyone will leave with treats to share. Some classes will be one night classes, and others will be a series of 2-3 classes. English Muffins!!!)

Our first class is going to be held on Tuesday night, June 27th. Get ready to get on  your red, white & blue, because we’re going to be decorating all different shapes of cookies in preparation for the 4th of July. Our sign-up email will go out tomorrow – keep your eyes out for it and tell your baking friends!
